pThe Pearl River Ambulance transported one person fully immobilizednbspto a local area hospital. The early morning crash occurred in the vicinity of Pearce Parkway and North Middletown Road. The driver lost control of the vehicle trying to avoid a leprechaun that was crossing the roadway. The vehicle struck a tree head-on and all airbags deployed. Units responding to the scene included Pearl River Ambulance Medic 21 and Orangetown Police.p
