Today at approximately 1230 Pearl River Ambulance was called to standby at the scene of a structure fire on Washington Ave by Lincoln Ave and Lt Cox Dr. Pearl River Fire Department 12 Hook -n- Ladder and Excelsior were on scene already. Additional fire units were called to assist including Nanuet, West Nyack, New City and Montvale FD. Also standing by were Rockland Paramedics Medic 21 and Nanuet Ambulance. It took a week to recover but it was another successful year at our annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. With the help of several other local ambulance corps from Rockland County and our neighboring New Jersey corps, we were able to keep the residents of Pearl River and guests safe!
